Screen printing
At our Helsinki printing studio, we do hand-pulled screen printing with water-based inks produced in Finland.
Water-based inks penetrate the textile and blend with it, especially on light-coloured textiles. This creates soft-to-the-touch prints that are extremely durable and will never peel off.
We can match your desired colours using the Pantone Matching System (PMS).
Screen printing is a highly versatile technique that can be used on cotton and most synthetic fabrics, as well as on denim, leather and linen.
We can also screen print on stiff, flat materials such as paper, cardboard and wood, and we are constantly testing our inks on new materials.
Vinyl cutting
We use high-quality vinyls that are certified by OEKO-TEX® and CPSIA as being free from lead and phthalates, and safe for children.
Vinyl prints have extra-sharp edges; the plotter is cutting it using vector graphics outlines. They are lightweight, long-lasting and highly customisable.
Vinyl cutting is ideal for very short print runs (even just one piece) and for special finishing effects such as reflective, rainbow reflective or glow-in-the-dark.
DTG (Direct To Garment digital printing)
DTG printing allows full-colour images to be printed directly on textiles with a low environmental impact.
DTG prints are made with water-based inks using the latest printing technology, producing a durable result that feels very soft to the touch especially on light-coloured garments.
DTF (Direct To Film digital printing)
In DTF printing, images are first digitally printed on a film and then transferred onto the textile.
The final ink film of the print is remarkably thin and the colours are vivid.
